This site is all about RSI. RSI is a general term for all kinds of complaints. Usually, it means an overstraining of muscles, tendons or joints.
The cause can be any repetitive movement carried out over a long time. Long and repetitive cannot be quantified - every person is different. Some movements cause harm for some people where others have no problems. It is obvious that breaks from work help to prevent complaints.
In my case, I had tendovaginitis, tenosynovitis or typists cramp a lot of times. I work with the computer and the mouse was the cause for that. Now, I have several mouse replacements and if I switch between them, I can avoid complaints.
